Line a 20cm springform cake tin with baking paper. Add the almond meal, sugar and butter then mix for 10 secs on speed 4. Scrape down side of bowl and repeat until combined. Only you can determine how strong you would like the flavour. If you prefer a milder flavour use no rind or less juice and flesh. Watch it in the oven it can brown easily. Can serve it on it's own, or with cream or extra lime slices on top You can also use lemon instead of lime for a different flavour. However I only had a packet 250g of Butter nut snaps biscuits which gave the base a lovely nutty flavour but I should have halved the butter as was too buttery. Infsct the buttrr was running out from the pie tin So The base remained a little soggy. I also needed to use 4 limes and 2 lemons to get the sharp lemony taste I like. Will definatrly make Again using granita biscuits. I had unusually large green limes, size of a large lemon , that I purchased from my grocery store. I used two of the large limes which had a good amount of juice. It was perfect, with a stong taste of limes. Can't wait to make it again. Felt like I was back in Key West eating Key Lime Pie. The people were saying that the pie was delicious. It was a blast working with fellow food bloggers. This is a scallop with the Hawaiian orange salt. Here, the sang its victory song. Key lime pie thermomix can whack in anything and hope for the best. Initially I said 'I don't know' although I did of course know. I have thanked him for his contributions the cross section of the scallops, above. It did need to sit overnight as most recipes suggest to soften the crust and meld the flavours. I think I'll taste it next time. I made scallops this weekend too but you guys had much more fun. It was perfect, with a stong taste of limes. This light and creamy tequila-spiked lime pie with a macadamia nut cookie crust is unique and delicious!.
